Teaching

I have been on the faculty of the Sweetland Center for Writing at the University of Michigan since Fall 2012, and in July 2022 I became the Director of the Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts. I also served as Dzanc Writer-in-Residence at Ann Arbor Open School most years from 2007 to 2022 (and now oversee LSWA students who serve in that program), and led workshops at the Neutral Zone for over a decade, both as facilitator of the Short Story Workshop and as poetry instructor for the Volume Summer Institute.
